Style maven Alexa Chung reveals her VERY cool new fashion

She was revealed as the unlikely face of Marks & Spencer in a bid to revive dwindling sales earlier this year and it seems that Alexa Chung has the midas touch.

Following on from the success of her debut range, Archive By Alexa, the British style icon and model is back with a winter range.

She's back! Model and muse Alexa Chung has unveiled her very cool new fashion range, which she created with the help of the M&S archive in Leeds (dress, £49.50)

The new collection, which will complete the Archive By Alexa series, is dubbed a 'modern interpretation of archive pieces, fusing a rich heritage with contemporary style.'

Whilst Alexa - who found fame as a model - doesn't showcase the clothes herself, she did use the company archive in Leeds to curate the range, as well as directing the shoot herself.

The 27-piece womenswear promises to bring old pieces back to life for the new season using Alexa’s unique approach to style.

The collection is undeniably Alexa, featuring the animal prints and PVC skirts that she often wears on the front row of fashion week.

There's also plenty of outerwear for fashion fans to wrap up warm in come winter and Alexa has given hero shapes from across the decades a fresh spin.

Key pieces include a faux fur hooded jacket and high shine PVC trench, with every single piece being named after streets in Leeds where Marks & Spencer was established in 1884.

Whilst the range isn't hitting stores until November 1, customers can register their interest online now.

The trendsetter and contributing editor at Vogue teamed up with the store earlier this year to launch the Archive By Alexa collection.

The range included 31 pieces that were hand-selected by Alexa from the British retailer's archive, from the forties through to the noughties.

Alexa, who has been a constant presence on the front row at fashion shows over the past decade, had caused an M&S tan suede skirt to sell out last year after she was pictured wearing it.

She has previously worked with fashion labels AG Jeans and Madewell, as well as having a Mulberry bag named after her that helped profits at the brand soar.

Last month, she was announced as the face of AG Jeans' new Fall 2016 campaign and then announced that her new label, Alexachung, will be landing in stores in May 2017.

While the range will be sold at luxury retailers like Selfridges and, Alexa said she is keen for the label to speak to 'everyone on the street'.

'I want to make sure that we are offering something that is exciting and unique and new, but also the point of this brand is that it connects to everyone,' she told the Business of Fashion.

'I see this being the culmination of a lot of hard work for a decade and this being the resting place for all of those ideas, and to continue kind of developing and growing that, just in this one home base space.'

Alexa will take on the role of creative director at the ready-to-wear label, which will feature denim, daywear, eveningwear, shoes and jewellery.
